24 Season Finale

I guess because this was the first season of 24 that I've watched the normal way (week by week and without a clue what was going to happen), I was pretty excited the entire way through. The only other season that I've seen is season one and I watched that on DVD and already knew who the bad guy was and who died at the end, so this was a different experience.

Some of my friends who have seen all of the seasons thought that this one was a disappointment. I didn't feel that way at all, however I don't have too much to compare it to. I felt cheated that some things didn't get resolved (how is Wayne Palmer?, Is that Morris' baby?), and I didn't really like where they ended it. I kept worrying that Audrey's dad was going to shoot Jack while his back was turned.

I've heard from some entertainment sources on the Internet that next season was going to have a lot of changes. Some suggestions included less time at CTU (if any), multiple concurrent (but different) story lines, and presumably more action.
